I was in New York City for a conference about a year after 9/11. A street artist told the story of 9/11 attack on the twin towers using a matchbook and was handing them out freely after the story. (hoping for any donation). He had cases of matchbook boxes.
I got one and my friend’s husband owned a framing studio. He framed it beautifully and it’s been displayed in my home for about 19 years.
Remembering the fallen, the brave, and the families of the victims this day marking 20 years.
